Rates and Reservations for Island Path Panama
The first step in making reservations is to ask yourself "Why am I coming to Bocas Del Toro?"
If the answer is to Surf, Fish, Dive or tour the islands and the rain forests, you have found the right accomodations for your needs. Clearly, we cater to water sports enthusiasts and eco-tourists that wish to have a rainforest experience instead of staying in town. It is quiter and more peaceful here in the hills. Closer to the surf too.
We offer accomodations as well as surfing and eco-tours on a first come, first serve basis. If you are on a budget and looking to surf, we are a short 30 minute walk to the main breaks.
Accomodations
For guests looking for a room in the jungle, the follow applies:
Hill side cabanas
Includes a private cabana that sleeps two and a continental breakfast. Cabanas include A/C, private bath with hot water showers and a private deck overlooking the rain forest.
Tours are subject to availability and priced based upon the surf spots visited. The boat is hired on a 1/2 day or full day basis. Price includes gas and guide.
Local to Bocas Town/Isla Colon. Includes Bluff Beach, Paunch, Dump, Tiger Tails, Carenaro, Old Man's, Punta Toro, Julio's and Silverbacks.
Eco Tours
Tours are subject to availability and priced based upon the locations visited. The boat is hired on a 1/2 day or full day basis. Price includes gas and guide.
Local to Bocas Town/Isla Colon. Includes Bastimentos town and beaches, Hospital Point, Carenaro. Lunch is typically taken in town (not included in price).
Both near-shore and off-shore fishing tours are available through tour operators and priced upon request due to the significant fluxuation in fuel costs.
All Inclusive Packages
Minimum reservations require groups of four guests.
The all inclusive package includes airport pickup and drop off, a rain forest view cabana with double occupancy, A/C, private bathroom with hot water shower, breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. Dinner is available at Island Path's restaurant but is not included in the rate. We do this to allow you the flexibility to go into town where you can go to different restaurants, or you can eat dinner at the resort.
Island Path Panama operates our own boat for all-inclusive packages. For groups that wish to split up for the day, Island Path can assist in arranging other tour operators. Additional charges may incur due to prices beyond Island Path's control.
If you come to Surf
The package includes the accommodations described above, the boat, guide, lunch and water, for surfing the entire day at the spots local to Bocas town and Playa Grande.
If you come for Eco-Tours
The package includes the accommodations described above, the boat, guide, lunch and water for tours the entire day at the spots local to Bocas town. Please note that Eco-tours are a bit more expensive due to the increased consumption of fuel.

For stays longer than two weeks, a 15% discount applies after the second week.
Surfing ToursTours are subject to availability and priced based upon the surf spots visited. The boat is hired on a 1/2 day or full day basis. Price includes gas and guide.

- Surfing at Playa Grande incurs additional $10 per person when requested...it is worth every penny.
If you come for Eco-Tours
The package includes the accommodations described above, the boat, guide, lunch and water for tours the entire day at the spots local to Bocas town. Please note that Eco-tours are a bit more expensive due to the increased consumption of fuel.
- 4 people booked is $125 per night, per person ($750 for the six nights, per person)

We want to ensure that you have a great time here, so we book based upon the best season for your activities.
- Surfing: We book surfers for December / January / February / March / July / August
- Eco Tours: We book Eco tours January through the end of October, except May
- Fishing: We book fishermen March through to the end of October, except May
Reservation Requirements
We suggest reservations no less than twelve weeks before you travel. To make reservations:
- Contact us and tell us your preferred dates and activities
- If we have availability, send us a 50% deposit to confirm and hold your dates. A check is fine. Soon, on line credit card processing will be accepted.
- The final payment must be made upon your arrival in Bocas. This payment must be in cash.
